Truck Driver in Mimika Complains about the Appropriate Subsidy of MyPertamina

A number of truck drivers in Mimika Regency began to complain about the MyPertamina Precise Subsidy program which would later be implemented in Mimika Regency. The driver's complaint is none other than an android phone that they don't have. In addition, the policy is considered difficult to implement because gas station officers will be overwhelmed in providing services.

"Maybe when this comes into effect, the queue will automatically get longer and it will be very disturbing to the general public," said Yansen, a truck driver when he was met queuing for diesel fuel at the Nawaripi gas station, Tuesday (9/8/2022).

Meanwhile, Yoel, another truck driver when met at the same location, said that the queue for diesel in Mimika is always long. In fact, not infrequently he does not get solar even though he has been in line for a long time.

"Indeed, we have a lot of complaints here, sometimes we don't even get inside, there are still queues out here, so when we got here (the middle and front parking positions) the (diesel) had run out, so we couldn't get it, so that's what happened. complaints for us, I personally am not ready to accept the program, “explained Yoel.

Apart from Yansen and Yoel, several other truck drivers in Mimika also complained about the same thing. They asked the government not to immediately implement the MyPertamina precise subsidy program in the near future and they asked the government to consider implementing the appropriate subsidy program as well as possible.

Meanwhile, Sales Branch Manager IV Papua, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Nanda Septiantoro, explained that proper subsidy registration is not only through the website independently but also through gas station officers at the MyPertamina proper subsidy registration service booth.

Nanda explained that after registering, the registrant will get a QR code which can then be printed or made into a card.

"So even if you don't have an Android cellphone, you can still register and get a QR Code," explained Nanda.

Nanda also emphasized that the queues caused by subsidies were not correct according to him. This is because those who will fill up subsidized fuel using a QR code have already been filtered or the vehicle data has been read automatically in the system, and only those who have a QR code can fill up subsidized fuel. "So the subsidies are more targeted," he said.

Nanda appealed to people who do not understand this and the mechanism to visit the 6 MyPertamina subsidy offline registration booths available at 6 gas stations in Mimika Papua.
