The Accident Rate in Pati is High, Jasa Raharja Holds a Safety Campaign
Pati - Jasa Raharja (Persero) held a Safety Campaign for Transportation Safety and Compliance with Payment of Motor Vehicle Taxes at the Pati Regency Hall, Thursday (6/10/2022).
The Acting Regent of Pati Henggar Budi Anggoro and a number of prominent figures were present, namely the President Director of Jasa Raharja Rivan Purwantono, the National Transportation Safety Commission Ahmad Wildan, Public Policy Observer Agus Pambagio, Public Lawyer Azas Tigor Nainggolan, Director of Traffic and Traffic of the Central Java Police and Member of Commission V DPR RI Sudewo.
In addition, the Pati Police Chief, AKBP Christian Tobing, Kasatlantas Pati Police with his staff, Dishub Pati, Head of Services Raharja Pati Nurvi Murdiyanto, representatives of village heads and community elements were also present.
The Acting Regent of Pati Henggar Budi Anggoro expressed his appreciation for Jasa Raharja for initiating the activity so as to be able to bring experts at the national level. He also expressed his gratitude to the invited guests and participants who have been able to take the time to participate in this Safety Campaign.
"Based on data by the President Director of Jasa Raharja, the accident rate in Pati Regency is the fifth winner at the Central Java Province level. Of course, this really needs attention, considering that 72% of the accident rate was dominated by teenagers born in the 2000s,” he said.
Therefore, his party invites all parties to really pay attention to these conditions because transportation safety is a necessity. So that the safety of transportation must be properly planned starting from the infrastructure and other related matters.
He advised that each party and agency must have their respective duties and obligations related to transportation safety.
“Obviously in this forum, we can get a lot. In addition to understanding the safety of transportation, but also how the public understands that the vehicles owned or used are in accordance with the provisions," he said.
