Bus Sinar Dempo From Pagaralam South Sumatra
Sinar Dempo is a company operating in the field of land transportation, namely buses, which was founded by H. Sidik in 1974 in Pagaralam (South Sumatra).
Starting from relying on 1 unit of Chevrolet transport car with short routes such as Pagaralam-Muara Gelumpay & Pagaralam-Muara Payang which departed from the terminal in front of Dempo Market, the company was able to continue to grow and along with fleet growth and increasing demand for transportation, finally In 1978 H. Sidik built the first SINAR DEMPO route with the route Pagaralam-Lahat & Pagaralam-Lubuk Linggau until it expanded further Pagaralam-Palembang to the destination of Tanjung Karang in 1979.
Even in the midst of increasingly fierce competition at that time, the Sinar Dempo company was able to survive & continue to expand its wings until we joined the AKAP (Inter-City Inter-Provincial) bus company consortium called SANUTRA (Satu Nusa Transport) across Banda Aceh-Denpasar in 2018. 1979 which was initiated by the Minister of Transportation in that era, Mr. Rusmin Nuryadin, and what is quite proud is that SINAR DEMPO is the only bus company that represents South Sumatra.
In 1992 Drs. H. Joni Sidik, MM, MH became the successor who took control of our company, which became a milestone in the rapid development of SINAR DEMPO to date. In line with our existence & commitment to serving the community's land transportation needs, the Directorate General of Land Transportation also awarded Sinar Dempo the Lifetime Achievement award in 2011 & 2015 for a lifetime of service in the field of road transportation.
And since 2016 Sinar Dempo has been transformed into a Limited Liability Company based on the Decree of the Minister of Transportation which requires transportation companies to be a Limited Liability Company.
