Dump Truck Versus Angkudes

 A fatal accident that resulted in 11 deaths occurred in Sorogenen Hamlet, Kalijambe Village, Bener District, Purworejo Regency, Wednesday (07/05/2025). A truck with the license plate number B-9970-BYZ hit a village transport vehicle carrying a group of condolences from Mendut Village, Mungkid District, Magelang Regency.

The group of residents were going to pay their condolences to KH Barzakki, the owner of the Al Huda Islamic Boarding School in Penungkulan Village, Gebang District, Purworejo Regency. "The number of victims who died at the scene was 10 people, one more person died in the hospital. Meanwhile, 7 people were injured. All victims who died and were injured are currently being treated at Tjitrowardojo Hospital, Tjokronegoro Hospital and RSI Loano," said Purworejo Police Chief, AKBP Andry Agustiano at the scene.

5. Isna Hayati, address Mendut 1, Mendut Village, Mungkid District, Magelang Regency.

The victims who died and were identified at Tjokronegoro Regional Hospital are as follows:

1. Edi Sunaryo, a minibus driver, died while being treated at Tjokronegoro Regional Hospital, address Ngrajek Village, Mungkid District, Magelang Regency.
2. Siti Khur Fathonah, address Mungkid District, Magelang Regency.
3. Naqi Umi Rohmah, address Mungkid, Magelang Regency.
4. Hesti Nunggraeni Rahayu, address Mungkid, Magelang Regency.
5. Nely Suraya, address Mungkid, Magelang Regency.
6. Mellani, address Mungkid, Magelang Regency.

Injured victims treated at RSI Loano:

1. Paiman, owner of the shop where the accident occurred (outpatient)

Meanwhile, the dump truck driver with the initials L, a resident of Bojonegoro, East Java, suffered serious injuries and was treated at Tjitrowardojo Purworejo Regional Hospital.
