New Kabin Bus Double Decker from PO Juragan 99 Made More Modern

PO Juragan 99 Trans has once again added a new luxurious double-decker bus featuring the Legacy SR3 Neo Double Decker Suites Combi body, assembled by Karoseri Laksana.

Carrying a revolutionary In-Road Entertainment concept, this latest premium bus fleet redefines the standard of modern bus services in Indonesia. Inter-city inter-province (AKAP) travel is no longer just about moving passengers from one point to another.

This newest fleet is equipped with a series of cutting-edge technologies never before applied in the national bus industry. One of the most striking features is the use of a special visual projection system (projector) in every cabin.

This technology creates a completely different atmosphere compared to conventional Audio Video On Demand (AVOD), transforming the bus interior into a luxurious moving cinema studio that remains comfortable and eye-friendly for passengers.

Founder of Juragan 99 Trans and J99 Corp, Gilang Widya Pramana, stated that this technology-packed fleet represents the company’s long-term commitment to delivering a modern and classy transportation ecosystem for the Indonesian people.

The journey experience is also made more interactive through the Live View Journey feature. Via monitors in every cabin, passengers can watch live streaming of the road ahead from the driver’s point of view.

Director of Juragan 99 Trans, Suluk Waseso Segoro, revealed that this fleet renewal is part of the company’s transformation toward digitally-based land transportation services with precise operations.

Upon entering the cabin, an integrated intelligent digital system personally welcomes each passenger by displaying their name on the individual shell-seat monitor. To support all these digital facilities, the bus is equipped with stable internet technology using an Equal Speed Distribution system, which ensures equal and fair Wi-Fi speed distribution to every seat without buffering issues.

“This In-Road Entertainment innovation is our response to the demands of modern, dynamic passengers. The entire entertainment system — from projectors and smart tablets to internet bandwidth management — is integrated into a single digital ecosystem of Juragan 99 Trans,” he said.

To date, the business unit under the J99 Corp umbrella has operated a total of 60 premium buses serving strategic AKAP routes such as Jakarta–Malang–Surabaya, new routes like Malang–Bandung and Surabaya–Denpasar, as well as tourism services across Indonesia.

For the chassis, PO Juragan 99 Trans relies on the Volvo B11 R 450 HP Euro 5, which is well-known for being tough, safe, and comfortable for AKAP buses. It is equipped with modern engine technology and air suspension for superior ride comfort.
