Airlangga Hartarto Tested Mitsubishi's battery-based Electric Truck
Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto tested Mitsubishi's battery-based electric truck, the Fuso eCanter, while visiting the GIIAS 2022 exhibition area at ICE BSD City, Tangerang.
After opening GIIAS 2022, Airlangga visited the truck exhibition area at GIIAS 2022, one of which belongs to PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the agent holding the Mitsubishi Fuso brand. Mitsubishi presents a light duty electric medium truck. The Fuso eCanter is powered by six high-performance lithium-ion battery packs that have a capacity of 370V and 13.5kWh.
Powered by these six batteries, the eCanter is capable of traveling 100 kilometers (km) on a full charge that is capable of being charged by two types of battery charging systems: normal AC charging, or fast DC charging compliant with the CCS2 protocol.
Not only trucks from Mitsubishi, Airlangga also tested trucks and other electric vehicles such as the Isuzu ELF NLR B Camper Van and KIA EV6 with the Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita. To note, there are a total of 25 brands of passenger and commercial vehicles participating in the GIIAS 2022 event. Of these brands, some of them will showcase their electric vehicles.
A number of brands that will participate are Audi, BMW, Chery, Daihatsu, DFSK, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, KIA, Lexus, Mazda, MG, Mini, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Porsche, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VW, Wuling, and from commercial vehicles came Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso, and UD Trucks. In addition, there are more than 100 brands from supporting industries also present at GIIAS 2022, from the car body industry present Adiputro, Laksana, and Tentrem.
