Depok City DPRD Members Harass Truck Driver by Stepping on Him
Depok - There has been an act of violence by the Deputy Chairman of the Depok City DPRD, Tajudin Tabri, harassing a truck driver named Ahmad Misbah by being stepped on.
Depok City DPRD member, Tajudin, apologized, but Misbah, a 24-year-old man, still chose to report the violence and humiliation he experienced in public to the police.
"Yes, I have reported him to the police," said Misbah, Saturday (9/24/2022).
Misbah explained that the case of violence that he experienced by being stepped on, had been reported to the Depok Metro Police. He made the report on Friday (23/9) afternoon, at around 17.00 WIB.
Misbah, as the truck driver, reported members of the Depok City DPRD as well as Golkar Party politicians with reports of acts of persecution. Misbah has also admitted that he has submitted a number of evidences to the police, including the results of the post-mortem.
"We are reporting acts of abuse. There is proof of the visa as well,” explained Misbah.
Misbah also said that the abuse against him started when he was on the truck. That incident, Tajudin who was at the location was already in a state of anger and suddenly came over to him.
Moreover, the Depok City DPRD member was also said to have slapped his left cheek, after which he asked himself to do push ups and also roll around on the highway.
The viral video also shows Tajudin stepping on Misbah's body during push-ups. The video made residents and netizens furious.
"The incident, he came and was immediately angry. My position at that time was still on the tub and trying to reduce the rock, then he told me to get down. As soon as I got down, he slapped my left cheek, then I was told to push up, and was stepped on, then told to roll around,” said Misbah.
Misbah hopes for justice for the report. Misbah also hopes that the police will follow up on the report. He asked for justice in the case of abuse he experienced.
"I just want legal justice," he said.
