Hino Showcases Firefighting Demonstration at GIICOMVEC 2026
Jakarta - PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia (HMSI) not only presented special vehicle solutions such as the fire truck based on the Hino 300 Series 136 HDX at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Commercial Expo 2026, held at JIExpo Kemayoran from 8–11 April 2026. Together with the Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Dinas Penanggulangan Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan DKI Jakarta), PT HMSI organized fire safety education and demonstrations.
“Through the presence of the Hino 300 Series 136 HDX Fire Truck and the education program conducted in collaboration with the Jakarta Provincial Fire and Rescue Service, Hino aims to demonstrate that its role is not only as a commercial vehicle provider, but also as a partner that contributes to improving public safety and preparedness against fire risks,” said GMB Division Head of PT HMSI, Anton Nugroho, during the event on Friday (10/4/2026).
The Jakarta Provincial Fire and Rescue Service provided important explanations on fire handling through a talk show held at the Hino booth. Agus Wijaya, Head of the Fire Operations Section, Operations Division of the Jakarta Provincial Fire and Rescue Service, explained his team’s vehicle readiness, initial fire handling procedures, and safety procedures in emergency situations.
In the outdoor area, the firefighting team demonstrated fire suppression techniques. During the demo, the Hino-based fire truck showcased its maneuverability in supporting the movement of the firefighting team.
The Hino 300 Series 136 HDX Fire Truck is equipped with an N04C-WY engine that meets Euro4 standards, delivering a maximum power of 136 PS at 2,500 rpm and torque of up to 40 kgm at 1,400–2,500 rpm. This performance is supported by the responsive RE61 transmission. The robust chassis frame is capable of carrying heavy firefighting equipment while maintaining stability during maneuvers.
