Container Truck Hits the Sidewalk in Front of the Floating Mosque BJ Habibie
Pare-pare - A tronton truck or container truck accident hit the pavement on Jalan Mattirotasi, Cappa Galung, West Bacukiki District, Parepare City. The accident occurred at 04.15 Central Indonesian Time (WITA), Friday (13/5/2022) morning.
When contacted, Kasatlantas Parepare Police, AKP. Muhammad Yusuf said that a single tronton container car accident hit a number of facilities on the sidewalk.
"Traffic accident, a tronton truck loaded with counters moving from south to north hit the Mattirotasi road barrier which resulted in one traffic sign pole, one street light pole, and one pole as well as the Parepare Police TMC CCTV unit collapsed and damaged," he said.
Furthermore, AKP. Yusuf said the losses caused by the accident reached tens of millions of rupiah due to a tronton truck accident.
"The loss is estimated at fifty-five million rupiah and the tronton truck suffered dent damage on the front bumper and cracked glass on the front," he explained.
Kasatlantas Polres Parepare said the container truck that had an accident north of the BJ Floating Mosque. Habibie will be arrested.
"The accident has been handled by the Parepare Police Traffic Unit and the car is still at the crime scene (TKP) and making repairs to be further secured to the Parepare Police Traffic Unit," he concluded.
