Unable to Climb up, The Truck loaded with palm Fell down in Sitinjau Lauik
Padang - A colt diesel truck transporting palm oil fell on the Panorama II route, Sireview Lauik, Indarung Village, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City on Monday (26/9/2022). Allegedly the truck is not strong enough to climb. As a result of the incident, the cargo of palm oil was scattered on the road.
One of the eyewitnesses, Ucok (36) who is also a member of PKJR (Pos Kamling Jalan Raya) said the truck came from the direction of Padang City to Solok Regency. The truck seemed unable to climb up and suddenly stopped and backed away until it fell. “The truck fell over holding the cargo of palm oil that was being carried. The cargo was spilled on the road," he explained.
Padang Police Traffic Head AKP Alfin explained that his personnel were already in the field. He said the incident did not interfere with traffic flow in the area. "Thank God there were no casualties. Traffic access is not hampered, he said.
