 A bus company (PO) that has become quite well-known among the people of West Sumatra recently is PO Al Hijrah, which provides fairly good service.

Although its headquarters is in Jepara, Central Java, the owner of PO Al Hijrah is actually a person of Minang descent.

Andri Abdurrahman, commonly known as Haji Andri, is the owner of the company PT Al Hijrah Aulia Rahmah. He is a native son of Piaman, born in Pasir Sunur, Pariaman City, in December 1961. This father of five children has a wife named Arumsari, who comes from Marabau Village, South Pariaman, Pariaman City.

The history of the company named PT Al Hijrah Aulia Rahmah itself comes from the life philosophy of Andri Abdurrahman, who "hijrah" (migrated) from his hometown in West Sumatra to the island of Java. When it first started operating, PO Al Hijrah had 10 buses. However, the business grew, and now he has added 12 new units of tronton Volvo 450 HP Euro Suite Class Family buses.

In 2024, these Al Hijrah tronton-class buses also launched a new route: Pariaman–Jakarta–Bandung, with license plates bearing the W series from Pariaman City. Andri Abdurrahman stated that the presence of PO Al Hijrah with Plat W (Pariaman plates) in the city automatically contributes to the Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of Pariaman City through Vehicle Tax (PKB). 

In addition to the transportation business, Andri Abdurrahman also owns a distributor business for imported fabrics from Turkey and Italy, which operates across all of Indonesia. He also has a business in the field of Bulk LPG Filling and Transportation Station (SPPBE), which is a private filling plant that transports bulk LPG from PT Pertamina’s filling plant and fills LPG cylinders for PT Pertamina agents who sell LPG.
