Brake Blong, Iron Loading Truck Hits a Restaurant in Magetan
Magetan - An iron truck loaded with Nopol L 9924 UB crashed into a restaurant on Jalan Raya Sarangan-Plaosan entering Gemutri Hamlet, Dadi Village, Plaosan, Magetan, East Java, Sunday (9/10/2022).
It is suspected that the truck had braking problems and crashed into the terrace of Wijaya's restaurant. As a result, the truck overturned and the driver broke his leg.
The Head of the Plaosan Polsek of the Magetan Police, Ipda Akhmad Suryani, revealed that from the results of the investigation of the crime scene, the truck driven by Feri Andria (26), a resident of Entalsewu Village, Buduran District, Sidoarjo, walked from the Sarangan direction to the Plaosan direction or from the west to the east.
Arriving at the scene, the truck with the load failed to brake. The driver was forced to swerve to the right and hit the terrace of Wijaya's restaurant, causing the truck to overturn. "It is suspected that due to braking problems the truck eventually hit Wijaya's restaurant. Trucks from west to east, the road goes downhill. As a result, the driver was injured," said Akhmad, Sunday (9/10/2022).
Even so, the police are still trying to evacuate the vehicle from the scene. While the food stall only suffered damage to the terrace. The vehicle body did not hit the front wall of the house.
