Consecutive Collision Involves Truck and 4 Cars to Stall
Bukittinggi - A series of collisions involving a truck, 4 cars and a motorcycle occurred on Jalan Bukittinggi - Padang, Banuhampu District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra, Friday night.
As a result of the accident, 10 people were injured and taken to the hospital.
Truck driver Edi Candra (39) said the incident began when he was moving from Padang to transport loose palm kernels to Bukittinggi.

Suddenly, a long truck horn sounded from a distance in the direction of Kapeh Panji. While in front of the Nasi Goreng stall, the truck hit 2 cars. A Grand Max car crashed in front of Sanjai Mananti's stall.
"While the other Toyota Hiace was dragged by a truck to the front of the Sate Ajo stall, right in front of the Puskesmas," he said.
Bukittinggi Police Traffic Unit officers who came to the location with residents, immediately evacuated 10 injured victims to Yarsi Ibnu Sina Hospital in Bukittinggi.
The officer of the Gakkum Unit of the Bukittinggi Police Satlantas Bripka Nofriwaldi said the truck with the police number BG 8323 UD was suspected of having failed brakes until the driver lost control.
According to officers, one kilometer from the crash site, the truck's brakes failed and hit a vehicle in the same direction.
"The truck hit the right rear side of the Colt Diesel BA 8105 LU, then hit a Toyota Hiace, Grand Max silver, Honda HRV Merah, number BA 1562 ME," said Bripka Nofriwaldi.
In addition to hitting three cars and a Colt Diesel, the truck also hit a parked motorbike with a satay cart.
There were no fatalities as a result of the incident, only 10 victims suffered injuries who had been taken to the hospital.
