Trailer Truck and Bullfighting Ankle, Purworejo-Magelang Line 7 Hours Congested
Purworejo - Accidents due to drowsy driver again occur. This time in the Bener District area, precisely at Km 16 Purworejo- Magelang Dusun Kedung Agung Ketosari Village on Saturday (15/10) in the morning at 04.00.
Allegedly because he was sleepy, Didik Pramono (35) who was carrying a trailer loaded with ceramics "crossed" the road and collided with an ankle truck loaded with young coconuts and leaves driven by Sarif Hidayatuloh, a resident of Kebumen.
Although they did not cause any casualties, the two large vehicles crossed the Purworejo Magelang highway, causing traffic jams for approximately seven hours.
Bener Police Chief Iptu Suprapto explained the chronology of the incident.
"At around 04.00 from the south, the ankle truck with Nopol AA 8977 BJ carrying a young coconut tried to overtake the car in front of it. Suddenly, from the north, a trailer number DG 8116 DG drove up, carrying around 29 tons of ceramic,” he explained.
As a result, a bullfight ensued and both cars were badly damaged and crossed in the middle of the road. After being reported to the Laka Traffic unit of the Purworejo Police, an evacuation was carried out with a crane and the surrounding community.
The two drivers only suffered minor injuries, including the truck driver's ankle Monwahir.
