Container Truck Experiences Brake Failure in Bawen

 A pile-up accident that occurred in Bawen, Semarang today, involving several trucks, cars and also motorbikes was the result of one of the container truck units experiencing brake failure, which occurred today Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 11.00 WIB.

This pile-up accident started with one of the container truck units with the number plate H-9092-FC, driven by Mr. Khafifudin, address Kambangan Village, RT 05/04, Blado District, Batang Regency, which experienced brake failure while driving from Semarang to Salatiga.

When the container truck was driving on the downhill road, suddenly the truck experienced brake failure, so that it sped up and hit the Hino truck in front of it with the number plate AA-8523-VG, the driver was Eko Supardiman, 28 years old and the Dyna truck with the number plate H-9807-FC, the driver was Dwi Ariyanto, 28 years old.

And still driving and hit a Toyota Rush car belonging to Fatma Solihatin, 49 years old, with the number plate H-1395-QQ, and a car belonging to Turmudi, 74 years old, the driver of a Toyota Voxy, with the number plate B-2671-NFA, and hit a motorcyclist with the number plate H-6125-AL, belonging to Siswanto, 33 years old, a motorcycle belonging to Aminudin, 47 years old who was riding a Honda Vario H-4923-OV, and a motorcycle belonging to Agil Heri Wuryanto who was riding a Honda Beat K-2193-SJ, and Hanny Syifa who was riding a Yamaha Mio AA-3693-WG. . . .

There were no fatalities in this accident, one of the victims, a motorcyclist, only suffered minor injuries, namely Siswanto, and was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital by officers. The traffic lane which had been congested until 13.30 WIB, finally returned to normal after all vehicles were evacuated.
