Truck Overturned in Front of the Tanggamus Transportation Office
Tanggamus - A truck transporting oil palm fruit bunches, had a traffic accident on the west causeway (Jalinbar), precisely in front of the Tanggamus Regency Transportation Service Office, Monday (12/9/2022).
The vehicle with the police number (nopol) BE 9085 X, before the accident suffered damage to the exhaust until it broke.
The truck driver, Wandali (40) admitted that he departed from Bangkunat carrying palm fruit bunches to Kalirejo, Central Lampung. When he arrived in the vicinity of Sedayu, the muffler was broken and would be repaired to a repair shop for welding.
“After arriving at the welding shop, I was asked to park the vehicle backwards. Suddenly, the rear tire collapsed and the truck rolled over, scattering the cargo," said Wandali.
The local Babinsa, Suswanto, who happened to be passing by at the scene helped secure the driver and took him to the Transportation Office.
"There were no casualties and we are still waiting for a tow truck to lift the truck," said Suswanto.
