Due to Broken Axle, Sugar Cane Truck Overturned in Ngadiluwih Kediri
Kediri - Due to a broken axle, a sugarcane truck loaded with Nopol AG 8026 EC overturned on Jalan Raya Kediri - Tulungagung, precisely in Tales Village, Ngadiluwih District, Kediri Regency. The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at around 09.00 WIB. As a result, two-way traffic was interrupted, because the position of the truck closed the road.
AKP IWAN SETYO BUDI, Kapolsek Ngadiluwih, Kediri Police, when confirmed by Gatekeeper Radio ANDIKA, said the incident began when the Mitsubishi Colt Diesel truck driven by KASIYANTO, a resident of Ngadiluwih, Kediri Regency, walked from Kediri to PG Ngadirejo. Arriving at the scene, suddenly the rear wheel slipped and KASIYANTO applied the brakes.
But the truck eventually overturned. Meanwhile a load of spilled sugarcane filled the road. After the driver got out and checked the vehicle, it turned out that the right rear axle was broken.
AKP IWAN added that there were no fatalities in this incident. Traffic flows smoothly again after the evacuation process is complete.
