Mitsubishi Fuso Targeting Market Share Growth This Year

JAKARTA— Mitsubishi Fuso's commercial vehicle distributor in Indonesia, PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (PT KTB) is targeting market share growth throughout 2023. Mitsubishi Fuso occupies the top position as the market leader for commercial vehicles in Indonesia in 2022, with a market share of 41.1 percent.


"In 2023, Mitsubishi Fuso targets to gain a market share of 45 percent," said President Director of PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors Nobukazu Tanaka, at a Media Gathering event in Jakarta some time ago, as quoted by KONTAN.

Mitsubishi Fuso is targeting sales growth of 10 percent compared to last year. In 2022, Mitsubishi Fuso recorded sales of 38,397 units. To achieve the target targeted this year, PT KTB has prepared a number of strategies. One of them is to continue to focus on customer support while the vehicle is in use, which is entitled Integrated Powerful Solution or Integrated Powerful Solution.

Mitsubishi Fuso will provide its best support to consumers in every phase of vehicle ownership and use, starting from presenting superior products, offering financing solutions with partner companies, flexible and customizable after-sales service, and a fleet management system supported by Runner Telematic 3.0.

"We will present all of these offers through the MyFUSO apps in a timely manner and consumers can find out in detail through this application," he said.

Mitsubishi Fuso also plans to introduce a new MDT (Medium Duty Truck) variant, Fighter X FN 62 F HD R in April. With the new product, Krama Yudha hopes that Mitsubishi Fuso's target can be achieved by the end of the year.

PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) is preparing various attractive sales and after-sales programs for consumers visiting the 2023 GAIKINDO Jakarta Auto Show (GJAW) automotive exhibition at the Jakarta Convention Center on March 10-19 2023. To prepare for demand ahead of Eid in April, PT MMKSI claims to have prepared sufficient stock for several of their flagship car models, such as the Xpander, Xpander Cross, and also the Pajero Sport. For the Triton model, it is more or less the same, the only difference is the service fee and spare parts for 40 thousand kilometers or two years. And there are free MT tires for the SC & DC HDX variants.
