25 Mahindra Pickup Trucks Support Operations of Koperasi Desa Merah Putih in 25 Tegal Villages
Slawi - A total of 25 Mahindra pickup trucks were distributed to strengthen the operations of Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (KDMP) in 25 villages in Tegal Regency, Central Java, on Monday (4/5/2026). The handover was carried out through Kodim 0712/Tegal as a form of support for the government’s program in developing village economies.
This assistance is part of efforts to support President Prabowo Subianto’s program in promoting the growth of Merah Putih village and sub-district cooperatives across various regions. The white vehicles are equipped with the KDMP logo on the side and a bird of paradise ornament on the rear.
The symbolic handover ceremony took place in the courtyard of Kodim 0712/Tegal. The beneficiaries welcomed the aid as a concrete step to strengthen village-based economic activities.
Village Head of Kaliwadas, Rukhmanah, expressed appreciation for the support provided. She assessed that the operational vehicles would greatly assist mobility and distribution of cooperative activities in her area.
The Commander of Kodim 0712/Tegal, Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Rachmat Ferdiantono, explained that the operational vehicles are assistance from PT Agrinas intended for the Merah Putih Village Cooperatives.
“We handed over 25 units of Mahindra Scorpio 4×4 to support the operations of village cooperatives in the Tegal area,” he said.
In the future, these vehicles are expected to improve the operational efficiency of the cooperatives and drive grassroots economic growth at the village level. Previously, the government had also distributed 108 three-wheeled vehicles to 54 villages receiving similar programs in Tegal to facilitate distribution and strengthen community economic activities.
