Cement Filling Truck in Medan Hits Electric Poles and Overwrites Houses

Monitoring at the location, it was seen that the condition of the truck with plate B 9345 UIN was damaged on the left front. It was also seen that a power pole made of concrete collapsed when the truck hit. As a result of the collapse of the pole, one unit of the house was crushed by a pole which was hit by a truck.
Witness Ria said that at first she saw the truck passing from Jalan Gatot Subroto to Jalan Sunggal at around 09.00 WIB.
However, because it was suspected that the brakes failed, the truck immediately drove into a power pole.
"The driver has also given a warning beforehand, "beware the brakes fail, the brakes fail" so the vehicles all move aside," he told reporters.
Ria added that when the truck hit a power pole, the truck immediately stopped.
"No one was hit, bang, just the pole because it was warned before," he said again.
There were no casualties in this incident, but Ria said the passengers in the truck were in shock.
Monitoring at the location also showed traffic jams due to the number of people passing by curiously and perpetuating it using their cellphones.
It was also seen that the Medan City Transportation Agency officer made traffic arrangements.
