L-300 Pickup Crash Hits Back of Truck
TAKENGON - A fatal accident involving an L-300 BL 8357 LP pickup with a Colt Diesel B 9234 TYX truck occurred on Takengon-Isaq Street, Pemdere Saril Village, Bebesen District, Central Aceh, Monday (17/10/2022).
The collision, which occurred at around 03.00 WIB, left one person dead and two others injured. All of the victims were passengers and drivers of the L-300 pickup.
The fatal accident has gone viral on social media. One of them was uploaded to the social media account @keber_gayo.
In the video, the front of the L-300 pickup can be seen wrecked. Seen at the scene of the incident quite a lot of car body fragments scattered on the road and blood splattered.
Central Aceh Police Chief through Head of Traffic, Iptu Suhadi, said the accident occurred on Monday (17/10/2022) early in the morning.
It was explained that the Colt Diesel truck driven by M Ranu Imam Solihin and a passenger named Ari Setiawan, residents of Tanjung Selamat Village, Padang Tualang District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra.
Meanwhile, the L-300 pickup was driven by Alhuda Ramadhan, a resident of One-One Pedemun Village, Lut Tawar District. There were two other passengers in the pickup, namely M Basri, a resident of East Takengon, Lut Tawar District and Naran Tuah, a resident of the Sacred Mupakat Village, Bebesen District.
"The L-300 pickup truck and the Colt Diesel truck actually drove in one direction, from Takengon to Pegasing," said Iptu Suhady.
Unfortunately, explained the Head of Traffic at the Central Aceh Police, when the L-300 pickup was about to overtake the Colt Diesel truck in front of it, it immediately hit the back of the Colt Diesel.
"As a result, the front of the L-300 pickup was damaged," he said.
As a result of the incident, an L-300 pickup passenger named M Basri died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver Alhuda and one other passenger, Naran Tuah, were injured and treated at the Datu Beru Takengon Regional General Hospital.
The police have secured the evidence and will carry out further investigations regarding the deadly accident.
"The driver is still unable to be questioned, because he suffered serious injuries.
After he recovers, we will conduct further investigations," said Iptu Suhadi.
Possibility of Peace
A fatal accident that claimed the life of Tgk Warwin Firdaus (50), a resident of Musara 58 Village, Pintu Rime Gayo District, Bener Meriah, as a result of being run over by a Colt Diesel BL 8554 ZE truck, on the Bireuen-Takengon highway, Sunday (16/10/2022) afternoon, ended peacefully.
The accident involved two motorcycles and a truck.
The Bener Meriah Police Chief, AKBP Indra Novianto through the Head of Traffic, Ipda Sofyan Kurniawan SH, said it was possible that the three parties would agree to make peace.
Because the victim has accepted and is sincere about the disaster.
However, the Head of Traffic Unit could not confirm yet, because there was no peace letter from the three parties.
"For the time being, the truck driver has been picked up by the family of the victim who died to be taken to the victim's residence, in order to pray together.
After that, they will be brought back to the Resort Police to conduct mediation and sign the peace letter," said Ipda Sofyan.
