Lumajang Regent Asks Sand Truck Driver to Be Orderly
Lumajang – Downstream dump trucks passing through the national roads, Pasirian, Lumajang become a problem. National roads are damaged, because the average dump truck carrying sand is over capacity.
The Regent of Lumajang, Thoriqul Haq alias Cak Thoriq, asked the sand truck driver to be orderly by covering the tarpaulin and according to the tonnage.
"Reeek, friends of the sand truck drivers, who are disciplined, if you're transporting sand, cover the tarpaulin, there's been enforcement going back and forth," wrote Cak Thoriq through his personal Instagram account, Friday, September 16, 2022.
He said that it had been less than a year since the Pasirian national road had been repaired, it had been damaged again.
"I was told to match the tonnage, for reasons not to demand the results of the transportation, told to cover the tarpaulin, many of which were not covered by the tarp," he concluded.
