Chronology of Container Trucks Vs Calya in Sukabumi
The container truck involved in an accident with the Toyota Calya minibus in Sundawira, Parungkuda District, Sukabumi Regency. This accident triggered a traffic jam on the Sukabumi-Bogor highway on Monday (8/5/2023).
The vehicles involved in the accident were the Toyota Calya minibus with police number F 1665 UY and the Ud Truck container truck with police number B 9134 CEH.
Head of Satlantas Satlantas Sukabumi Police Unit, Iptu M Yanuar Fajar said the accident occurred in the morning at 03.00 WIB. According to him, the accident started when the Toyota Calya driven by Hudri Ruhyat (42 years) was traveling from Bogor to Sukabumi. Arriving at the scene, crossing a straight road slightly curving to the right, the Toyota Calya allegedly lost control to the right side of the road and from the opposite direction a truck driven by Saeful Farid Abdillah (41 years) drove.
"Because the distance was too close, the accident could not be avoided," he said.
Yanuar emphasized that there were no casualties. "The material loss is estimated at Rp 50 million," he stated.
This accident caused the container truck to break down, triggering a traffic jam on Jalan Raya Sukabumi-Bogor. The flow of traffic began to unravel after the trucks were evacuated at 10.00 WIB.
