The first GAZelle NN 4x4 in the Farmer version rolled off the assembly line

 The Gorky Automobile Plant began producing serial "tadpoles" with a platform, a double-row cabin and all-wheel drive. Such "Gazelles NN" have the internal plant index A22A22. 

The peculiarity of the new product is the combination of a seven-seater cabin, a cargo side, a new generation architecture and a 4x4 transmission. According to the configurator, such a "Farmer" has become the seventh in the GAZ lineup! The math is simple: now GAZ produces old "Gazelles" and "Sobols" of the "Business" family, "intermediate" "Gazelles NEXT", "Sadko NEXT" and "GAZon NEXT", as well as the electric car "GAZelle e-NN" in the "Farmer" configuration. 

At the same time, in the low-tonnage family, only the old-style vehicles had all-wheel drive. The only nuance is the uncontested four-wheel drive design; there is no dual rear axle yet. The 5.6-meter-long truck has a platform measuring 2.34 x 1.98 x 1.81 meters, drop sides on all sides, and the interior seats seven. The technology is standard: a 2.5-liter turbodiesel (150 hp, 420 Nm) with a 6-speed manual, a two-speed transfer case, and a rear differential lock. This Farmer will go on sale before the end of the year. 

Currently, the Sobol-Farmer of the Business series costs from 2,040,000 rubles, but the new product can be almost twice as expensive. The fact is that dealers began selling the three-seater all-metal van GAZelle NN 4x4 for 3,965,000 rubles, and it is unlikely that the version with a combined platform will be much cheaper. The rear-wheel drive GAZelle NEXT with a dual rear axle in the form of a "Farmer" costs from 3,270,000 rubles.
