KTB donated a Mitsubishi Fuso Colt Diesel to SMK Negeri 3 Sorong

Sorong - PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (PT KTB), the official distributor of commercial vehicles and spare parts for Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC), donated one Mitsubishi Fuso Colt Diesel as a practice vehicle to SMK Negeri 3 Sorong, Southwest Papua, on Friday, January 23, 2026.

The symbolic handover of the truck was carried out by Prasetio Hartono, Director of the Administration & HR Division of PT KTB, to the Principal of SMK Negeri 3 Sorong, Umar Singgih, S.Pd. Also present at the handover ceremony were Saur Sitinjak, a representative of the Sorong City Education Office; Firmansyah Ichsan, Chief Operations Officer of PT Bosowa Berlian Motor; and Arfan Rawuaten, Branch Manager of PT Bosowa Berlian Motor, Sorong City.

Daisuke Okamoto, President Director of PT KTB, stated, "This donation is one of KTB's efforts to continuously contribute to improving the quality of education. We hope this technology transfer can foster the best potential of these students, who will ultimately drive the Indonesian automotive industry in the future."

This donation to SMK Negeri 3 Sorong marks the fourth in a series of truck donations undertaken by PT KTB during the 2025 fiscal year. The previous donation of practical vehicles was made on December 11, 2025, at SMK Negeri 3 Ambon, Maluku.

This donation is one of PT KTB's corporate social responsibility activities under the KTB FUSO Vocational Education Program (KTB FUSO VEP). Since 2017, KTB has conducted various activities through this program, including certified automotive training for vocational school teachers and students, donations of educational support equipment, and soft skills seminars to prepare students for entering the industrial world.

Prasetio Hartono, Director of the Administration & HR Division of PT KTB, stated, "This donation to SMK Negeri 3 Sorong demonstrates our commitment to expanding the benefits of KTB's CSR programs throughout Indonesia. We want to continue to be present alongside the Indonesian people, not only in business but also in social endeavors, as they strive to achieve a better life."

The KTB FUSO VEP is successful thanks to the strong support of the Mitsubishi FUSO Dealer network and the professional Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors Regional Training Center (KRTC), which facilitates educational development collaborations. KTB, Dealers, and KRTC will continue to implement various initiatives, such as certified automotive training for students and teachers, fieldwork practices, and the provision of learning facilities, as part of their active role in providing tangible benefits to improve the quality of vocational education in various regions of Indonesia.
