Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400 Available for Orders in Europe Starting in April

The Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400 battery-electric construction truck can be ordered starting in April 2026. Mercedes-Benz Trucks has begun sales of its new battery-electric truck, the Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400, expanding its portfolio of electric trucks in the construction segment.

"With the new battery-electric eArocs 400, we are enabling locally CO₂-free operation even in demanding construction environments. This vehicle combines the required robustness with an efficient electric drive system, covering key applications in near-highway construction. This helps our customers sustainably develop their fleets and position them for the future," said Stina Fagerman, Head of Marketing, Sales & Services at Mercedes-Benz Trucks, on Monday (30/3/26).

The Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400 electric truck was first unveiled last year at the Bauma exhibition in Munich. This is the world exhibition for construction machinery and building materials, mining equipment, and construction vehicles.

Customers in 13 European Union markets can now order the Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400. Starting in the third quarter of 2026, the truck will be produced at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Würth am Rhein, followed by the integration of the Paul Group electric drive system in Vilshofen an der Donau.

The Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400 is equipped with two LFP battery packs (each with an installed capacity of 207 kWh) located behind the cab. This truck is specifically designed for urban construction work, enabling all-day operation without the need for on-the-go recharging.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks offers the eArocs 400 in two versions, with a technically permissible gross vehicle weight of 37 and 44 tonnes. It is also available in an 8x4/4 axle configuration and four wheelbase options.
