Mitsubishi Fuso Transforms All Fuso Maru-P Models Into New Fighter X

Jakarta, Indonesia – PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) is the official distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation commercial vehicles in Indonesia. Together with the assembly plant, PT Krama Yudha Ratu Motor (KRM) has ended production for one of its product lines, namely Mitsubishi. Fuso Maru-P on March 30, 2022.

This is done as a responsive step for KTB in providing products that comply with government regulations with EURO 4 emission standards as of April 2022. In this case, KTB will transform all Fuso Maru-P models into a new variant of Medium Duty Truck (MDT), namely Fighter X.

The first Fuso Maru-P was produced in Indonesia at PT Krama Yudha Surabaya Mojopahit Motor. Then in 1987 until March 30, 2022, the production of Fuso Maru P was continued at PT. Krama Yudha Ratu Motor Jakarta with a total production of 113,409 units until the end of production on March 30, 2022.

To this day, the Fuso Maru-P is well known as a truck that is tough on all terrains and can be used for various consumer business segments such as plantations, mining, and infrastructure.

At a formal event held on April 14, 2022 with health protocols in the KTB - Pulogadung area, Nobukazu Tanaka, President Director of KTB in his speech said, "We are very grateful to all customers who have put their trust in Fuso Maru-P. We will continue to be committed to providing quality products and excellent after-sales service for all consumers. As the successor to the FUSO Maru-P, we have launched a new model, the Fighter X to meet the needs of business consumers. There are 14 Fighter X variants that consumers can choose from." he said.

In 2022, KTB targets a fairly high sales for the MDT class, which is 27%. KTB is confident that the new Fighter X, which has been prepared with various improvements, can be the best choice for consumers. The functional improvements added include more diverse product variants or line-ups in accordance with consumer needs, more powerful engine performance, increased GVW and ROH dimensions, more environmentally friendly engines according to EURO 4 standards, as well as higher safety equipment features such as ABS and Full Air Brake system that provides safety for the driver on the trip.

In addition to the Fighter X Truck, KTB also launched a new Canter in the LDT class. In total, KTB will have 29 EURO 4 variants which will be available across the Mitsubishi Fuso dealer network. To ensure a smooth Euro4 transition throughout Indonesia, KTB provides after-sales service in 218 dealer networks and will be enhanced with supporting services such as Truck Center and Mobile Workshop Service.
