Trailer Truck Hits Trees on Jalan Pantura Tuban
Tuban - The trailer truck hit a tree on the northern coast of Tuban, Jalan Gajah Mada, Doromukti Village, Tuban District/Regency, East Java, Monday, October 3, 2022, at around 04.00 WIB. Luckily there were no casualties in the incident. But the condition of the truck suffered damage to the front.
The Head of Law Enforcement (Gakkum) Satlantas Polres Tuban, IPDA Eko Sulistyono said the chronology of the accident began when the trailer truck Nopol L 8088 UA driven by Mansur was traveling from east to west.
"It is suspected that the truck driver was driving his vehicle without concentration," said Eko Sulistyono.
When at the scene, the truck driven by a 44-year-old man, a resident of Wangen Village, Glagah District, Lamongan Regency, swerved to the right and then hit a tree and also the sidewalk on the right side of Gajah Mada Tuban road.
"The truck hit trees and the pavement causing damage. Meanwhile, the driver survived," added Eko Sulistyono.
As a result of the incident, material losses reached around Rp. 5 million. Then the officers immediately went to and conducted the crime scene, searched for and confiscated BB, looked for witnesses, carried out further investigations and evacuated the truck.
