The Longest GIIAS Semarang Test Drive Area
The GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) The Series 2022 automotive exhibition in Semarang City is entering its third day of implementation and is still ongoing.
Premiered in Central Java Province, GIIAS Semarang has the longest test drive area during the series of GIIAS The Series which is provided specifically for GIIAS Semarang visitors to try their dream car firsthand. A test drive track is available for 2 kilometers starting from the Marina Convention Center to Jalan Marina Raya.
Visitors can try a row of cars in the test drive area, namely Daihatsu Rocky, DFSK Gelora E, DFSK Glory, Honda BR-V, Honda City Hatchback, Honda HR-V, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Stargazer, Mazda CX-5, Mazda 2 , Mitsubishi Pajero, Mitsubishi Xpander, Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, Suzuki Ertiga, Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Raize, Wuling Almaz and Wuling Air EV.
Apart from four-wheeled vehicles, visitors can also try two-wheeled vehicles, namely Benelli Patagonian Eagle 250cc, Pacific Sprinter Prime, Polytron Fox R Electric, Polytron Evo Electric, and United T-1800.
To do a test drive or test ride, visitors only need to register in the registration area provided. Visitors who will do the test drive must have an active SIM A, wear a seat belt, obey traffic signs, have a maximum speed limit of 40 km/hour and are prohibited from using cell phones while driving.
Visitors who will do a test drive and test ride are also required to comply with the applicable health protocols when trying the vehicle. Visitors must wear a mask, maintain a safe distance and use a hand sanitizer before and after driving.
GIIAS Semarang 2022 presents a total of 9 passenger vehicle brands, namely Daihatsu, DFSK, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Toyota and Wuling. Six motorcycle brands were also present to showcase their latest products, namely, Benelli, Keeway, Exotic Bike, Pacific E-series, Polytron, and United E-Motor.
