Toyota Rush crashes into a Kijang on The East Ring Road
Bantul - THE ACCIDENT involving two cars occurred on Jalan Majapahit, precisely at the Janti Flyover in front of SMK Angkasa Dusun Karangjambe, Banguntapan, Banguntapan, Bantul, Sunday morning, December 24 2023. Luckily there were no casualties in this incident.
The incident began when the two cars were driving on the East Ring Road or Jalan Majapahit from north to south.
"The Kijang car is in front and the Toyota Rush is behind. "The collision occurred at around 04:30 WIB," said Head of Public Relations of the Bantul Police, Iptu I Nengah Jeffry, to reporters.
Arriving at Fyover Janti in front of SMK Angkasa, continued Jeffry, the Toyota Rush with plate number AB-1572-ZJ driven by JH (18) swerved and hit from behind the Kijang LGX with plate number B-7863-FI driven by K (54).
"After hitting the Kijang, the Toyota Rush lost control and then stopped after hitting the fence on the Indonesian Air Force complex road," he said.
For the Toyota Rush, according to Jeffry, the front body of the vehicle was damaged, the right side of the body was scratched, the door glass was broken, the right rear view mirror was broken, the left rear tire came off.
"As for the Kijang, the rear door was dented, the rear bumper was dented, the right rear door could not be opened and the right rear headlight was broken. "There were zero fatalities," he explained.
