Moza's Stolen Honda HRV Now Returned

 Jepara - Moza Paloza, the owner of a Honda HRV car from Slagi Pakis Aji, Jepara, was delighted after the police recovered his stolen car in Pemalang recently. Moza expressed his gratitude to the Jepara Police for successfully locating his stolen car.


The police finally handed over Moza's Honda HRV to him. Moza expressed his gratitude to the police for successfully apprehending the perpetrator. At the press release, Moza also received his car keys from the officers.

The police acted swiftly and, less than 24 hours after the incident, arrested the perpetrator of the car theft, belonging to a resident of Slagi Village, Pakis Aji District, in Pemalang. The perpetrators are repeat offenders: RK (45), a resident of Karawang Regency, West Java Province, and ML (46), a resident of Jepara Regency, Central Java.

The theft occurred on Monday (February 16th) before dawn. It happened at 3:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) in Slagi Village, Pakis Aji District. Initially, the perpetrator roamed around searching for the target on a motorcycle. After finding the target, he entered the house by prying open the side window with a chisel and screwdriver. He then took four cell phones and the keys to a Honda HRV. He then jumped over the side fence to the parked car and drove away. This has been confirmed by the police following the incident.

The perpetrator then fled in Moza's Honda HRV and arrived in Pemalang, where he was arrested by the Pemalang Police.

AKP Wildan stated that the perpetrator was arrested while still driving the car, which belonged to a Slagi Village resident.

Police also secured several pieces of evidence from the suspect, including a red HRV with keys and vehicle registration certificate, four cell phones, a chisel, and a screwdriver used in the theft.

For his actions, the perpetrator is now being charged under Article 477, Part 2 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code, which carries a maximum sentence of nine years in prison. The Head of the Jepara Police Criminal Investigation Unit also urged the public to increase their vigilance and immediately report any criminal activity in their neighborhood.
